Last weekend, Week 1 of the CRL West Fall Playoffs came to an end. In the crucial Quarterfinals, paiN Gaming and Team Queso defeated Spacestation Gaming and Cream Real Betis respectively to win the last 2 tickets to the 2020 CRL World Finals.

The Brazilian pride paiN Gaming had a rough start, but they came back with an end-of-season 4-win streak and reached the Playoffs with a Regular Season 5th place finish.

In the Quarterfinals of the Playoffs, paiN Gaming was matched against Spacestation Gaming. They fell behind by 1-2 in the first 3 sets, but with Lucas winning the deciding Set 4 and then Wallace clean sweeping his opponents in Set 5, they defeated the Spring Season Champions and marched to the Semifinals.

Meanwhile, Team Queso, the 3rd place finishers of the Regular Season, won over Cream Real Betis and moved forward under the lead of RUBÉN, the Master of Solo. After 2 years, this European powerhouse finally got their chance to stand on the international stage once again.
