Clash Royale League
GKR - Gold Edition

With both the Dragon League – Gold Edition and the Calalas Cup – Gold Edition now in the books, Clash Royale’s competitive spotlight shifts to its third flagship event: GKR - Gold Edition.
Hosted by GKR Leagues and fully supported by Supercell, the tournament will award one coveted Golden Ticket, a straight pass to the World Finals in DreamHack Atlanta (31 Oct ‑ 2 Nov), and a Silver Ticket for the Last Chance Qualifier.
FORMAT
GKR – Gold Edition is the third official Golden Ticket Event of the 2025 CRL season. Like the Dragon League and the Calalas Cup, the competition is structured into three main phases:

1. Ranked Race
At the close of the linked ladder season, the top 1,000 players receive an invitation to join the official Discord.
- Players will see a pop-up in-game a few hours after the end of the season, which will include a link to an article explaining how to join the official CRL Discord server.
- Don’t worry if you miss the pop-up — a CRL button will also appear on your main Clash Royale screen. Clicking it will redirect you to the same article, so you won’t miss your chance to join the action!
2. Event Qualifiers
The 1,000 qualified players will battle it out over two days of intense online competition.
Swiss Phase
- 9 Swiss rounds played using the in-game duels format.
- The top 32 players will advance to the next day.
Group Phase
- 32 players to four groups of eight.
- All matches are Bo3 manual duels.
- Each group winner starts the Event Finals with an upper‑bracket bye.
3. Event Finals
12‑player, double‑elimination bracket:
Day 1
- Opening upper and lower‑bracket rounds (Bo3 manual duels).
Day 2
- Upper and lower‑bracket semifinals (Bo3 manual duels).
- Upper and lower-bracket finals, and Grand Final: Bo5 manual duels with a bracket reset if the lower‑bracket winner takes the first set.
CRL POINTS
Competitors earn CRL points in both Event Qualifiers and Event Finals, which improves their position in the CRL Leaderboard.

WHAT’S AT STAKE
The event will offer the chance to win two Tickets:
- Champion: Season’s third Golden Ticket—direct slot in the CRL World Finals.
- Runner‑Up: Silver Ticket—entry to the Last Chance Qualifier.
In addition to that, the tournament allocates $50,000 across all 12 finalists, with prizes scaling at each bracket milestone, as follows:
