It's Royale MSTRS Time!

RoyaleMSTRS is back with their traditional 5 week season, and with it returns the MSTRS Duels format! This is their traditional series that features five weeks of competition, and includes 3 Open Qualifiers, 1 Wild Card Open, & Playoffs to determine a winner. RoyaleMSTRS kicks off with its first Open Qualifier on Saturday, September 23rd! With $30,000, and bragging rights on the line, you won’t want to miss this event.

RoyaleMSTRS Structure:

This season of RoyaleMSTRS features 5 weeks of competition which includes 3 Open Qualifiers, 1 Wild Card Open, and Playoffs to determine a Golden Ticket winner.

Players compete in weekly Qualifiers to earn Qualification Points towards the Playoffs. After three Open Qualifiers, the top 6 players in Qualification Points will receive an automatic invite to the Playoffs. The other 2 players for Playoffs will be decided through the Wild Card Open, where the top 2 players at the end of the event will qualify for the last 2 Playoff spots. Now let’s get a refresher on RoyaleMSTRS returning match format: MSTRS Duels

Players returning from our previous season of RoyaleMSTRS will remember that the match format is slightly different than the Duels format (hence the name, MSTRS Duels!). In RoyaleMSTRS MSTRS Duels format, players CANNOT reuse any cards from a deck they won a match with, but are ALLOWED to reuse any cards from a deck they lost a match with. Card restrictions reset after each matchup. This format will be used throughout all stages of the competition!

Finally, the eight players that qualified for playoffs will be placed into a double elimination tournament. All upper bracket matchups will be Bo3, and the Grand Finals & all lower bracket matchups will be Bo5. In other words, every elimination matchup will be Bo5, while the other matchups will be Bo3!

Only one player will be crowned the champion! Do you have what it takes?

RoyaleMSTRS Schedule:

Here is the schedule for this season of RoyaleMSTRS. For each stage of the competition, Day 1 will be on Saturday, and Day 2 will be on Sunday.

Open Qualifier 1: September 23rd & 24th

Open Qualifier 2: September 30th & October 1st

Open Qualifier 3: October 14th-15th

Wild Card Open: October 21st & 22nd

Playoffs: October 28th & 29th

For all 3 Open Qualifiers and the Wild Card Open, only Day 2 (Sunday) will be streamed on the RoyaleMSTRS Twitch and Youtube channels. Day 1 will be covered by community streamers.

The RoyaleMSTRS channels will stream both days of Playoffs alongside community streamers.
